Storytelling, Strategy, & Design
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Alexandria Mallett, but you can call me Ali for short. I am a Chicago-based communications professional with over 8 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and design within the non-profit and technology industries.
Ever since I was little, I have been enthralled by people and cultures. Growing up I wanted to be an archaeologist. At Miami University, I studied Anthropology and I ended up falling in love with the cultural and linguistic side. It was so interesting to me how something as simple as craft beer could have such an intricate role in the negotiation of social identity and even have its own culture. After graduating, I started my MBA at the University of Findlay, focusing on Marketing, where I realized my passion for helping companies connect to the people that drive them. Listening to and sharing stories, especially that of a brand’s, is what I do best!
Now, I have the incredible opportunity to bring Paycor’s culture to life through a whirlwind of engaging communications, captivating graphics, and unforgettable events. Additionally, I co-chair the Women's Inspiration Network employee resource group, organizing fun and interactive events focused on personal development and support. I strive to maintain an irresistible employee experience that connects to Paycor’s strategy.
I am skilled in storytelling, strategizing, communications, and social-based data analytics, with working knowledge of Google Analytics, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe XD, CRM platforms, website building, a variety of social networking tools and intranet platforms, and more. My experience both inside and outside the office has allowed me to become an adaptable and decisive leader who can carry out responsibilities with organization, promptness, and accuracy!
